Louis Prima e Keely Smith - Hey Boy Hey Girl

Louis Prima, foi um artista ítalo-americano nascido em 1910 que atuou como ator, compositor , trompetista e percorreu as principais tendências musicais do seu tempo. Começou nos anos 20 com um set de jazz no estilo de New Orleans, depois liderou um combo de swing nos anos 30 e uma big band nos anos 40. Nos anos 50 montou um número para se apresentar em Las Vegas com a cantora Keely Smith e, nos anos 60, uma banda de pop-rock. Em cada uma dessas empreitadas musicais, ele incorporou sua personalidade exuberante. Morreu em 24 de agosto de 1978, mas deixou um legado de dezenas de sucessos.
Keely Smith, ou Dorothy Jacqueline Keely, começou sua carreira como vocalista na banda de Louis Prima e mais tarde, conquistou a fama graças ao imenso sucesso da dupla em Las Vegas, durante os anos 50, quando o casal era reconhecido como o 'Rei e a Rainha de Las Vegas' e criaram o 'lounge act' moderno, chegando a fazer cinco shows por noite.
